Privacy policy
How Pure Reformer collects, uses and protects your personal information. If anything here is unclear, email admin@purereformer.com.au and ask.
Who we are
Pure Reformer operates reformer Pilates studios in New South Wales, Australia. In this policy "we" and "us" mean Pure Reformer. You can reach us at admin@purereformer.com.au.
We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry form on this website, we collect the information you put into it:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Which studio you selected, or the suburb you registered interest in
- Any message you chose to write
- Whether you ticked the box consenting to marketing email
What we collect automatically
When you arrive from an advertisement or a campaign link, the website records the campaign parameters in that link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, and the gclid and fbclid click identifiers). These are kept in your browser's session storage and submitted with the form so we can tell which campaign an enquiry came from. They are cleared when you close the tab.
The website also records which page you submitted the form from, and how long the form was open before you submitted it. The second of those is a spam check, not analytics.
We use Google Tag Manager and the analytics and advertising tools configured within it. Those tools set their own cookies and are covered by their own privacy policies.
Why we collect it
We use the information you give us to:
- Contact you about the trial class or enquiry you submitted
- Answer your question and arrange your booking
- Send you the transactional welcome email confirming your enquiry
- Send you marketing email, but only if you ticked the consent box
- Understand which campaigns and which studios are generating enquiries
Marketing email and your consent
The consent checkbox on our forms is never pre-ticked and is never required to submit an enquiry.
If you do not tick it, we will still send you the transactional email confirming your enquiry and we will still contact you about the booking you asked for, because that is what you asked us to do. You will not be added to our marketing list.
If you do tick it, you can unsubscribe from any marketing email we send, and we will action it. This is how we meet our obligations under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
Who we share it with
We share your information with the service providers who help us run the studios and respond to you: our email platform, our lead management system, and our booking system. They handle it on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Franchise enquiries submitted through the Own a Studio page go to our franchise team and are kept separate. They do not enter the member email sequences.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep proper business records, and we remove them when there is no longer a reason to hold them.
If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless we are required to keep it by law.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email admin@purereformer.com.au and we will respond.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your personal information, tell us first and give us the chance to fix it. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted connection and form submissions are transmitted securely. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update this page. The date at the top tells you when it was last reviewed.
